Oral Presentations are to be 15 minutes in length. Presenters are expected to follow the time limits and in cases where there is more than one author presenting the abstract, all speakers are required to present within the established 15 minute presentation time. Room monitors will be in the session rooms to ensure sessions are running on time. 5 minutes for Q&A with the audience should be included within your presentation time. For a 15 minute presentation, we recommend a maximum of 10 slides.
It is expected that you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation with visuals to support your presentation. All session room screens will be in 16:9 format (wide screen) so your .ppt file should be set appropriately to 16:9 dimensions. Video files MUST be embedded into your .ppt (PowerPoint) file. The maximum file size for your presentation is 150 MB. Macintosh presentations (i.e. Keynote) cannot be accommodated, unless saved to a PC-formatted USB stick. It is recommended that all presenters use the ECOCITY 2019 PPT TEMPLATE to create their presentations.
Accepted Academic Presenters are invited to submit a full paper in the Abstract Submission Portal by September 3, 2019. Please click HERE to download Ecocity 2019 paper format. Paper submitters should use "Humanities Style" by Springer as complements to Ecocity 2019 paper format. Click HERE to download the Springer Style Guide ("Humanities Style" on Page 18).
