REGISTRATION

The Developing Country registration rate is available to attendees residing and working in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income, lower-middle income and upper-middle income economies.

The Student registration rate is available for any person at least 18-years-old and currently enrolled full-time at an accredited university, polytechnic or college, or anyone engaged in a postdoctoral fellowship. Current proof of enrollment/ engagement, such as an official and current student/ institution identification, is required to obtain this rate. Student identification must be available at all times during the Summit.

To obtain a refund of the registration fee (minus CAD $100.00 administrative fee), registrations to attend Ecocity 2019 may be cancelled through September 3, 2019. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to:  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 3, 2019.

If for any reason the Summit should be cancelled, Ecocity 2019 will refund the registration fee. The Summit is not responsible for the refund of airfare, hotel, or other costs.

If you are unable to attend Ecocity 2019, you may transfer your registration to another person who meets the registration criteria.

An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a travel visa and authorization to attend Ecocity 2019 will be issued ONLY after registration has been completed and full payment received by the Secretariat. Letter of Invitation will not be issued for Community Day Only Registrations.

Upon arrival at the Convention Centre, please visit the on-site registration desk to receive your Summit identification badge. This badge will be required for admission to all Summit functions and must be worn at all times during the Summit.

As a registered participant of Ecocity 2019, you agree that the Summit or authorized third parties may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/ or words, and may publish or distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/ or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including but not limited to websites, presentations, and marketing materials. Photographs of data, whether displayed on screens, in posters, or elsewhere is not permitted.

The Summit organizers cannot accept liability for injuries or losses arising from accidents or other situations during or as a consequence of attending the Summit. In addition, the Summit secretariat is not liable for presentation cancellations or session delays that are beyond our reasonable control.
