Come join us at Community Day and the Community Solutions Showcase at the upcoming Ecocity World Summit where we are bringing solutions for lighter living to a local and global audience. In an energetic and fast-paced setting you’ll hear about local start-up ideas, businesses, and technologies that are powering our way to a sustainable future. This Pecha Kucha style event can connect you with movers and shakers in the region, some of the amazing Ecocity keynote speakers, and a dynamic audience of people dedicated to building socially just and ecologically sustainable cities. Stick around for the launch of Foresight Cleantech Accelerator’s newest Challenge Dialogues and learn from some of the leading companies in the areas of clean technology solving some of our toughest urban sustainability challenges.  And don’t forget to join in for the 2019 Catalyst Awards where the Green Electronics Council will present awards to public and private sector organizations that are leveraging sensor technology to build smart, sustainable and resilient cities!

10:00 - 12:00 Community Solutions Showcase (Vancity, REFBC, VEC and DSF) Innovators that will be presenting include Food Mesh, DrinkFill, Sea to Sky Removal, Green Spark, and Calmura Natural Walls. Over 15 businesses will present their innovations and businesses.
12:30 - 14:30 Ecocity World Summit Challenge Program (Foresight)
15:00 - 15:30 Catalyst Awards (Green Electronics Council)
